Carbonless Continuous Stationery

Carbonless copy paper, non-carbon copy paper, or NCR paper is an alternative to carbon paper, used to make a copy of an original, handwritten (or mechanically typed) document without the use of any electronics. The process was invented in 1952, NCR Corporation, as a biodegradable, stain-free alternative to carbon paper.

Carbonless copy paper consists of sheets of paper that are coated with micro-encapsulated dye or ink and/or a reactive clay. The back of the first sheet is coated with micro-encapsulated dye. The lowermost sheet is coated on the top surface with a clay that quickly reacts with the dye to form a permanent mark. Any intermediate sheets are coated with clay on top and dye on the bottom.

The carbonless stationery is mostly used in the sector where, statutory documents especially Tax Invoices, Excise Challans, Payment Vouchers used by the corporate are in carbonless continuous stationery. It is preferred by the Clients since the carbon pollution is avoided and also handling/distribution is simpler and gives tidy look of the surroundings.

Invoices

This stationery is used for to establishes an obligation on the part of the purchaser to pay, creating an account receivable, confirming the bill amount to the item sold to the customer. It can be either in single part or in multi parts with carbonless paper or with onetime carbon (OTC).

Delivery Challan

This is used as a document bearing description, condition & quantity of goods for the purpose of locations of movement of the specified goods. Apart from sales invoice, it is advisable to have separate delivery challan in duplicate for obtaining endorsement of the receiver as a proof of actual delivery of the goods.

Goods-Inward- Note

This stationery is used to maintain the record of goods received at the point of receipt. This record is used to confirm all goods have been received and often compared to a purchase order before payment is issued.

Purchase Order

This stationery is used for commercial document and first official offer issued by a buyer to a seller, indicating types, quantities, and agreed prices for products or services. Acceptance of a purchase order by a seller forms a contract between the buyer and seller, so no contract exists until the purchase order is accepted. It is used to control the purchasing of products and services from external suppliers.

Excise Challan

This Stationery is used for the Customer/Client/organization wants to have predefined format for subcontracting challan (57F4) even though SAP provides this challan format with standard subcontracting excise challan transaction.

Pay Slips

It is used for the person's salary payment, that records how much money the person has earned and how much tax or insurance etc. has been taken out.
